Built in 1905, Stanley Avenue Baptist Church (which once faced Stanley, but now turns to Locke Street South) had for decades been a spiritual and social hub for the Kirkendall neighbourhood of Hamilton.

Ela Architects was retained to perform design work for the complete renovation of the interior spaces.
